BEWARE OF TOUTING MALPRACTICES

  1. Recruiting is totally transparent.
  2. Do not pay money to middlemen. They do not have any role and influence in recruitment.
  3. Recruitment process has been fully automated.
  4. No one can help you in physical, written or medical examinations.
  5. Beware of touts/agents and lodge complaint against them if they try to contact you.
  6. Only your hardwork will ensure your selection.
CERTAIN WAYS THE TOUTS FOOL THE CANDIDATES, WE COME TO KNOW THEM THROUGH THE CANDIDATES WHO WERE THEIR VICTIMS

  • Choosing of a Likely Victim - Before a tout takes money from a candidate, he checks the candidate thoroughly. Normally the boy is physically fit with no med problems and would in all probability be good in studies. Such a candidate will pass on his own steam. In such a case, the tout takes the credit. The recruiting organization gets bad name. If the candidate gets rejected, the tout returns the money or at least a major part of it. The boy is also happy, because if the tout could not get the work done, he has returned the money. ‘Thora paisa nahi wapas kiya…. Woh neechey walon ko khilane pilane main lag gaya. Sahab ne kaha hai ki agli rally main dekh lenge. Is baar bahut sakhti thi’.
  • People in the Recruiting Organisation are well known to me - In the middle of a recruitment rally, a totally unknown individual will come up to you and make a deliberate effort to shake hands with recruiting staff / officer claiming to be an ex-servicemen. He capitalizes only on this hand shake to establish connection.
  • False CEE - Few touts have duped innocent candidates by holding a fake CEE. Candidates came to the concerned ARO claiming that they have qualified in CEE conducted at one of a reputed school. Factual position was then explained to candidates that no such CEE has been conducted by the ARO.
  • Wear this coloured Banian/shorts etc, I’ve told the people concerned. They won’t ask you anything but will know that you are my man.
  • When you go for the interview of the Director Recruiting, say ‘Namaste’ or touch his feet. He will understand.
  • You just pass the run. I will get the rest of it done.
  • Meet me before CEE… I will get your exam cleared. Give me your mobile number.
  • It is very difficult in Military Hospital. Give me your details. I know people there.
